One of the sites we will be visiting on our Day of Service is Rising Stars Academy in Center Line, MI. Rising Stars is a post-secondary vocational training program for young adults with developmental disabilities. They focus on preparing students for independent living and jobs in a variety of industries, including food service.
Students will help with projects in the building, gardening outside, and various other tasks.
Transportation is provided. Arrive to DLS by 8:15am. Bus departs at 8:30am
Bus will arrive back to school around 1:00pm.
