Opportunities From: De La Salle Collegiate High School

St. Hyacinth Church is in desperate need of volunteers to help decorate the Church for the Christmas season. Volunteers will help move Christmas trees, move decorating items, and help decorate! Parents and Students are welcome! Please wear DLS spirit wear. The service event will take place on December 6 from 9am-Noon.

Students and Parents needed to serve as tour guides for prospective families visiting our annual Fall Open House.

Students will receive training before the event. 

Needed: 200-300 students and 100 parents

The DLS Dads Club runs 50/50 raffles at home basketball games to raise funds for student programs and school activities. It’s a fun, fast-paced way to get involved and make a real impact.

Volunteers are needed to collect Admissions at DLS Home Wrestling Matches.  Volunteers will be assigned to process credit card payments and scan digital tickets.

DLS Wrestling Matches are held in the Bill Fox Gymnasium on the campus of De La Salle Collegiate.

Volunteers are needed to collect Admissions at DLS Home Basketball Games.  Volunteers will be assigned to process credit card payments and scan digital tickets.

DLS Basketball Games are played in the Bill Fox Gymnasium on the campus of De La Salle Collegiate.

Hockey security volunteers will be tasked with directing patrons to the admissions table, checking stamps, and ensuring overall rink safety measures.

Ice Hockey plays at Big Boy Arena in Fraser.

Volunteers are needed to collect Admissions at DLS Varsity Ice Hockey games.  Volunteers will be assigned to process credit card payments and scan digital tickets.

Ice Hockey Games are held at Big Boy Arena in Fraser.

Volunteers will assist with decorating the cafeteria & hallways into a purple and gold wonderland in preparation for the CBA Holiday Arts & Craft Show Weekend!  The decorating starts on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

On Saturday, November 22nd following the event, we will take down some of the decorations, store and label them leaving some decor up until Christmas break begins.

The remainder of the decorations will be taken down, stored and labeled during the morning/afternoon of Friday, December 19th.

CBA Craft Show Committee Greenery Chairpersons--Mrs. Ikechi & Mrs. Zacharko

Hello DLS Students,

The CBA is looking for boys to assist with unloading the greenery, poinsettias and Christmas cacti from the delivery truck and assisting Mrs. Ikechi and Mrs. Zacharko with other physical labor activities that may be needed.  

Boys should wear clothing that is warm, comfortable and able to get dirty.  Bring work/garden gloves to protect hands from touching greenery and/or twisting heavy wire for attaching to the backs of the wreaths & crosses.

Hello!

We are looking for volunteers to help set up the school gym and hallways for the Sip & Shop on Thursday night and then again for the Craft Show on Friday night.  Duties will include such activities as attaching table skirts, placing table cloths, and various other duties.  On Saturday following the event, adults are needed to help tear down and clean up. 

Students will also be on hand to assist with various tasks but will need supervision.
