Opportunities From: De La Salle Collegiate High School

Our Mass Mob program brings together students, parents, families, alumni, faculty, and staff from De La Salle and Regina to celebrate our Catholic faith by attending Mass as one community. We sit together during the Liturgy, take a group photo afterward, and show our support for our local parishes.

Save the Date! Our first Mass Mob of the year will take place on Sunday, August 30, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Address: 44633 Utica Rd, Utica, MI 48317 

Please plan to arrive by 9:45 a.m. so we can gather before Mass begins. We also ask that you wear De La Salle attire to the Liturgy.  All students, parents, families, alumni, faculty, and staff are invited to join us. Please see the attached flyer for additional details, and we hope to see you there as we begin the school year together in faith and fellowship.

The Admissions Team is looking for volunteers to assist during Open House: The Pilot Preview on Sunday, October 25. Volunteers will assist in cleaning up AFTER the event.

The Admissions Team is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Parent Tour Guides to assist during Open House: The Pilot Preview on Sunday, October 25.

Parent Tour Guides will accompany our student ambassadors on tours with prospective families, providing parents with firsthand insight into the De La Salle experience. Your role is to share your family's positive experiences and answer questions from prospective parents as they explore our school community.

Event Details

Date: Sunday, October 25

Time: Please arrive no later than 11:00 a.m.; the event concludes around 3:30 p.m.

Attire: Professional / Sunday Best (Men: Dress shirt and tie; Women: Professional dress attire)

To ensure everyone is prepared, there will be 1-2 virtual training sessions prior to the event. Additional details will be shared with all volunteers.

Please Note: If you plan to volunteer with the CBA, Dad's Club, or another department during Open House, I kindly ask that you do not sign up for this opportunity. This will help us keep volunteer assignments organized and ensure we have adequate coverage throughout the event. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Sunday, October 25th is the event, Open House: The Pilot Preview! The Admissions Team is looking for reliable Student Tour Guides to offer tours to prospective families. 

Time: Arrive by 11am, done by 3:30pm

Date: Sunday, October 25

Attire: DLS Shirt and Tie w/ docs and liturgy attire. (NO EXCEPTIONS) 

This year, only one student will be allowed at the club/organization tables and the athletic tables. A separate sign up will be sent out for that. DO NOT SIGN UP HERE FOR TO RUN A TABLE. No exceptions. 

Tour guide training will begin after Labor Day during advisory. It is required in order to be a part of this significant role. 

This does count for service hours.

Role:  Helping to distribute medical supplies to those in need including things like Wheelchairs, crutches, hospital beds, walkers, bandages, etc. (no medications)
